Urban Terror Weapons and Tactics.

Urban Terror

Urban Terror is a game developed by the studios of Frozen Sand. A company that also developed a game called Quake 3 arena, Quake 2, and the original Quake, but anyways I’m here to talk about Urban Terror. This game is a free MMO style game that can be downloaded in as little as 20 minutes.  You can download it here

One of the many advantages that I believe this game has over any other computer based game is that it can run on any operating system. Systems such as Mac, Windows, and Linux, I personally believe that the graphics are amazing I love them. Now this game has earned a lot of popularity and with it many people that form groups such as clans on of my favorite clans is my own |KW| clan. Although we are going through some struggles, another of my favorite clans is <DN> or drunknoobs their website is available here

Well as far as it goes for tips I can give you so many because I happen to hold a rank in the top 30 worldwide. This is a very interesting weapon because even though Frozen Sand studios say that this weapon runs like it’s twin weapon the M4A1. In the game it feels as the ZM LR300 ML has a much faster firing rate. While The M4A1 has a bigger damage strike, As for the weapon I personally recommend aiming above the hip on the setting Automatic and having the click last from 2 seconds to 4 seconds. This is because when you shoot the weapon, it will most likely go UP the longer you shoot it. If you master this tactic you will get an improved headshot stat in the game. This weapon goes well with ALL the attachments although I believe the extra ammo attachment is a bit dumb because this weapon is a very common choice that many players choose.

This weapon has the 3 Settings

Automatic: (Recommended)

Semi-Automatic: (If what you are looking for is stealth and surprise I recommend silencer with this setting.)

Burst: (Not recommended at all. This is because the burst would just slow                                         you down.)

For secondary weapons you could use the H&K UMP45 and that weapon could be set to burst or automatic either one plays well with your primary as for the pistol I recommend using the Desert Eagle with a laser light. But if you like just a fast fire rate you could use the H&K MP K5.

This is a weapon that is best for full camp in my opinion. This is because this weapon has a high spread when you click. If you click for more that a second your shots will be off target.

The best attachments you could have on this weapon are the:

Tac goggles

Silencer

Laser light

Kevlar Vest

Kevlar Helmet

Now in this game you are allowed to only use 2 attachments per weapon layout. SO if you are looking to set your weapons to the next functions I recommend the attachments next to them

Automatic: (Shoots like a regular machine gun) recommended attachments for this setting are the: Tac goggles, Laser Light, Silencer, (advice continues pauses between clicks)

Semi Automatic: (Shoots one bullet per click) Recommended attachments for this setting are the: Tac Goggles, Silencer.

This is because the weapon has a big damage issue per strike, and using it at a long distance under control is advised for improvement on game play.

Burst: (Fires 3 shots per click) Recommended attachments for this setting are the: Silencer, Tac Goggles, Laser Light. This setting is good if your game play style is sprinting around the map and getting quick kills. The silencer will prevent the flare of the weapon from showing thus improving your accuracy.

Secondary weapons: since this gun has a slow firing rate I would suggest using the H&K MPK5 and then graduating to the H&K UMP45. Because the H&K MPK5 has a faster firing rate when set to automatic and the H&K UMP45 requires a bit more skill to handle.

In my personal opinion this gun is a very simple and good gun to use for fast killing.

Now the attachments that you may want to have on this gun are the:

Tac Goggles

Silencer

If these two are used your game play may be improved if you like to semi camp due to the fact that this gun can be set to these functions:

Automatic: Shoots like a normal machine gun would shoot, with a continuous fire rate. (Advice short pause between clicks)

Semi-Automatic: This is a setting that is made if you want to camp it shoots with a rate of 1 bullet per click.

Burst: This is a setting that fires 3 shots per click good if you sprint through maps, Very few people know that if you shoot and jump in this mode at your fourth shot session you will get a headshot. (Advice pause between clicks)

The silencer is recommended if you are camping under water on a map the flare is blocked out making you that much harder to be spotted. Also good if you are in scope mode and you have to be very precise the flare will not intervene with your scope target.

The Tac goggles are recommended because they will let you see enemy bodies through the smoke and water. Good for surprise attacks.

If you are using this weapon your secondary could be the H&K MPK 5 or the H&K UMP 45 this weapon and settings play well with both.
